Information for Speakers
 
Here is the outline for our meetings during the COVID safe-distancing precautions:
 
  • Meeting by ZOOM on Mondays, Noon until 1:00 pm  [You will receive the invitation from our ZOOM Manager,
    Ken Pollock, to your email address.]
  • Speaker Presentations are scheduled for 12:30 with an approximate 20-minute time-frame, followed by 10 minutes for
    Q&A by the Club members.
  • The ZOOM audience of Club members usually number about 18, plus some of our
    international Rotary Youth Exchange students occasionally.
  • You are welcome to attend the full meeting or leave the meeting at the end of your presentation and Club questions, as you wish.
 
Please provide your biography, contact phone number and email address,  and the main focus of your presentation as soon as possible.  We have a Web Master that loves to make Speaker announcements well in advance of the program.  Please feel free to call or  text to 480-330-8373, or email  at david.b.kline@outlook.com with any questions.
 
Here is the outline for our regular lunch meetings:
 
  • Please be prepared to bring your own audio/visual equipment. If you have questions or special needs please email Guest Speaker Coordinator Soni Koskela at sonikoskela@earthlink.net
  • Please provide a brief biography of yourself.  Tell us something about you and your work that would help us to know you better. Please provide this at least one week prior to your presentation. Email Guest Speaker Coordinator Soni Koskela at sonikoskela@earthlink.net
  • We will email you two days before your presentation in case you have any questions. Please give us your mobile phone number in case we need to reach you on the day of your presentation.
  • Please arrive no later than 12:25 pm. We meet at the Olive Garden (Elliot and Hardy) in a private dining room at the back of the restaurant.  You will be our guest for lunch with our members.
  • The time allotted for your presentation is from 12:30 to 12:50 pm.  Our meeting ends at 1:00 pm. Please tailor your presentation to meet this time frame.
  • Please keep in mind that you will be speaking to a diverse group with differing social, religious, and political backgrounds.
