Information for Speakers
Please provide your biography, contact phone number and email address, and the main focus of your presentation as soon as possible. We have a Web Master that loves to make Speaker announcements well in advance of the program. Here is the outline for our regular meetings:
- Please be prepared to bring your own computer if needed. There is an overhead TV that connects to the computer with an hdmi cable. If you have questions or special needs, please email me.
- Please provide a brief biography of yourself. Tell us something about you and your work that would help us to know you better. Please provide this at least one week prior to your presentation.
- We will email you a couple of days before your presentation in case you have any questions. Please give us your mobile phone number in case we need to reach you on the day of your presentation.
- We alternate between evening and lunch meetings. Please check our website (kyrenerotary.org), if you are not sure which time you have been scheduled. Please arrive no later than 12:00 pm (5:30pm). Alternatively, if you want to skip lunch/dinner, you could arrive as late as 12:25 (6:00). Let us know if you will be arriving later than our start time. We meet at the Native Grill (Ray and 10) in a private dining room at the back of the restaurant. You will be our guest for lunch/dinner with our members.
- The time allotted for your presentation is from 12:30 to 12:50 pm/6:20 to 6:45 with 10-15 minutes of Q&A following. Our meeting ends at 1:00/7:00 pm. Please tailor your presentation for this time frame.
- Rotary is a non-political, non-denominational organization. Please keep in mind that you will be speaking to a diverse group with differing social, religious, and political backgrounds.
- We are switching from Zoom to Google Meetings and will update remote procedures once complete.
