August 15, 2022 - Jill Strandquist, a Youth Exchange Student to the Philippines in 1982-83, gave us a very interesting presentation describing her experience as an Exchange Student. Not only was Jill a good student but while there she began her very successful tennis experience. Jill is very grateful for the RYE opportunity which she believes got her started on a successful career. She currently owns her own small business - Jilly Bean Designs. August 13, 2022 - Several members of the Kyrene Rotary Club, along with friends, and two Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) Students, put labels into 1000 dictionaries. We are very pleased that our incoming and outgoing RYE students could be with us on this project. The dictionaries will be delivered to 3rd grade classes in the Roosevelt School District. Our club has provided dictionaries to these schools for over 10 years.
August 1, 2022 - Donna Jewett, Truest Founder; Estate and Trust Attorney, gave us an excellent overview of what Trusts are all about and the advantages of a Trust over Probate. There were many questions and her presentation was received well.
