 March 28, 2016 - President Dave, (on the left) and Membership Chair Harry, (on the right) are seen welcoming three new members to our club today. Welcome Ryan, Darrell, and Mike - the entire club is very pleased that you are joining us. Darrell and Mike hail from Minnesota and won't be with us in the summers but Ryan is a native Arizonan and will be with us all year. We look forward to your active participation in the coming years.

April 4, 2016 - Tamela Demik, a pilot with the Arizona National Guard, gave us a great presentation about her experience and history. She is currently a member of the Camelback Crossroads club and is a strong believer in "paying it forward". She joined the Guard right out of college and began flying C130's. Today she flies KC 135s (refueling tankers) and is a flight instructor. She told us of some of the challenges in carrying out these refueling operations. The basic mission is to refuel bombers carrying nuclear warheads - part of a cold war deterrent. Her presentation was followed by many questions and comments.

March 21, 2016 - President Dave Klein presented Harry Short ( a founding member of the club) with the Rotarian of the Year Award with the designation - "Master of Inter-club Projects". Harry has been a very dedicated, conscientious, and energetic member of the club ever since the club began over 10 years ago. His experience and wisdom have guided us for many years. KUDOS Harry!! You deserve it !!
