An inspiration about stewardship adapted to fit Rotary, by Steve Mariotti My Rotary Club is composed of people like me.
I help make it what it is.
It will be a friendly club,
...if I am.
Its work projects will be filled with volunteers,
...if I volunteer to help.
My Rotary club will do great work,
...if I work.
It will make generous gifts to many causes,
...if I am a generous giver.
It will bring other people into its fellowship,
...if I invite and bring them.
It will be a club of loyalty, friendship, and fun, and a
club with a noble spirit, if I, who make it what it is, am
filled with these same things.
Therefore, with the help of other club members, I shall
dedicate myself to the task of being all the things that I

May 21, 2018 - Today Steve Alderson, a high end financial advisor with Wells Fargo, talked about the financial market in general terms. Steve has been providing financial advice for many years, including individuals and groups in every country in South America. He reminded us that markets can go higher and also lower than you think. Steve told us that the current bull run of 107 months is twice as long as the average bull market of 46 months. He is optimistic about the future economy in the U.S. but thinks a correction is on the horizon. He gave us an interesting chart that showed for the last 107 years, 29 years had negative returns and 78 had positive returns.

May 16, 2018 - The CDS April Teacher of the Month is Leah Fleming, World History.
May 15, 2018 - Our club held it's last social event for this rotary year at Keegan's restaurant. Most members attended with their spouses and since our members are not shy or meek, the sound level was considerable. Lots of conversation, fellowship , and much laughter!
