August 7, 2017 - Webmaster Ken Pollock gave us an overview of his 13 years as a volunteer with the Phoenix Police Department. He  spent over 9 years working with the Cold Case Homicide Squad. He explained how the squad dealt with over 2500 cold cases and how advances in DNA technology enabled more than 12 cases a year to be solved. His most interesting case was the famous 'Canal Murders' in the early 2000's. The application of new and creative methods led to the identification of and arrest of the felon.  Ken then described some new technology and how it is being used to solve crimes.
