November 16, 2020 - Joe Weisiger, a man with much management experience and a Rotarian, told us about several water projects that Rotary has been and continues to be involved in. To see the video he showed about the Water Lady, click HEREJoe described the situation on the Navajo Reservation is some detail. The video he showed HERE gave us a wide perspective on the water problems that the Navajo nation has experienced for many years. The Navajo are trying to improve their situation via political routes but that is a long process. In the interim they rely on the "Water Lady" to deliver water to their small holding tanks. The situation is dire and very depressing. To help solve the water problem, Rotary International has provided several grants but more funding is needed. Joe asked our club to consider supporting a new grant to continue this important work. Our club will consider this in the near future.
