Aug 17, 2015 - Today Susan Iniguez and Jeanine Dougherty from the
Roosevelt School District gave us an overview of the district, its history, mission, accomplishments, and goals. They spoke specifically about the Dictionary Project which our club has been involved with since 2008. Our club has contributed over 8000 dictionaries since that time (WOW). We were very pleased to learn how much this program has meant to the 3rd graders, teachers, and the district administration. After all these years it was great to meet a couple of the people we have relied upon to help set up the logistics each year. There were many questions and several members stayed late to have further discussions. We definitely increased the bonds between the district and our club.
