Girls Art and Computer Room Project in Jalalabad

The Rotary matching grant application for the Girls Art and Computer Room Project in Jalalabad, Afghanistan was submitted to Rotary International today, Feb 23, 2009. Our club and members pledged $1,500 to this project. The project should be approved and funded yet this Rotary year, that is, before July 1, 2009. The application was submitted by Diana Tacey, Founder of the ChildLight Foundation for Afghan Children. Diana is also the President-elect of Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club.
