Feb 1, 2016 - Today club member Rob Foster gave us an overview of the Foster Care Review Board (FCRB) in Arizona. The FCRB has existed for 38 years and Rob has been a member for 7 years. He explained how children entered into the Department of Child Services (DCS) system and what the role of the FCRB was related to those children.  The statistics are staggering: over 19,000 kids are currently in the system and 10,000 of those are in Maricopa county.  The workload for all people (case workers, lawyers, judges, volunteers, foster parents, etc) associated with this system is over whelming. Rob encouraged members of the club, and their family and friends to consider becoming an FCRB volunteer.  Click here to find out more.
