Feed My Starving Children - Packing Food

Aug 25 - KCRC went to the ‘Feed My Starving Children’ packing facility and here’s the results:
~6
KCRC members: Calop, Norma, Kyle, Gary, Machel and our exchange
student, plus Mary (Gary’s other half) dropped by for the last part
~6 lovely hairnets
~90 minutes of packing fun
~a single meal costs 24 cents to produce and consists of chicken, veggies, soy and rice (plus vitamins & minerals)
~$101 feed 2 children for 7 months
~FMSC received 4 Stars, Charity Navigator’s highest score
~camaraderie and fun: priceless!
