Oct 17, 2016 - Cheryl Hurd from Child Crisis Arizona described the role of CCA in the care of young children removed from their parents.  The organization can accommodate 78 children birth to eight years of age in two emergency shelters.  They employ case management workers and provide day care, counseling, housing, and crisis management for children in their care.  They provide classes and workshops for parents to help them reunite with their children.  They also license families for foster care and certification for adaption.  Cheryl invited our club to tour their facility.
